Purple Flamingo Beach Party was just fabulous!

On March 25-27 the SHB Gems held their signature event of the season, the Purple Flamingo Beach Party. Everyone, just everyone, had the most wonderful time. The incredible outpouring of support we had from other teams was overwhelming. This is who the SHB Gems consider their friends. This is who we are proud to fight along side with.

The music, the beach, the surf it just all came together perfectly to create an awesome weekend. Thank you all, everyone because really, Purple Flamingo wouldn't exist without you.

RFG estates for graciously making this parcel available to us. What can I say, not alot can happen until you have a place to set up camp.

Solsty Kismet for lending us her awesome surf wave and boards. This lady is a great friend to the Gems and simply a joy to work with. Solsty, you totally rock girl!

To our awesome DJs throughout the weekend. Some of them did more than one set. Our own DJ Stormy, DJ Soul in Chains, DJ Buzz, DJ Arwen, DJ Ruth Spiritor, DJ Casey from Team Purple Tears, and DJ Magic Warden. All of these people donated their time and efforts to make our event everything it could be. You were the soul of Purple Flamingo

Thank you to all the teams that participated in the campsite decorating contest. Now that was hoot!

To all the people that put out their wares in our merchant area, thank you for that support.

Last but certainly not least I want to extend and huge and special Thank you to my co captain Shenandoah Rain and our DJ Stormy Dench. These two ladies almost single handedly spent days and weeks building building Purple Flamingo from the ground up. Their tireless dedication is why it is an incredible honor to work with these people!
